Após a queda precoce na Copa do Brasil para o CRB, o Santos volta a campo neste domingo (25), às 16h (de Brasília), desta feita pela 10ª rodada do Brasileirão, para enfrentar o Vitória, em choque direto contra o Z4. A exemplo do último confronto, Neymar deve iniciar a partida na condição de reserva.
Ganhando minutagem gradativamente no time de Cléber Xavier, o camisa 10 ainda busca o melhor condicionamento físico, e não queimará etapa para não amargar o mesmo problema sofrido anteriormente, quando fora acometido por problemas musculares.
Para o duelo de ‘seis pontos’ no Barradão, o Peixe terá dois desfalques defensivos. Zé Ivaldo e Escobar estão suspensos pelo acúmulo de cartões. Neste cenário, João Basso e Souza devem ficar nas respectivas posições.

Neymar e o cenário de incerteza
Em entrevista depois do jogo no Rei Pelé, Neymar foi questionado sobre o futuro, e optou por não falar se vai renovar ou não com o Santos. Vinculado ao clube até o dia 30 de junho, o atacante pode ter mais outros dois jogos apenas com a camisa alvinegra, caso não chegue a consenso pela extensão de vínculo.
O atacante já teria recebido uma proposta do clube da Baixada, mas ainda não deu o veredicto sobre o futuro. Atualmente, o jogador de 33 anos não vem sendo especulado em nenhuma outra equipe.
