Američané symbolicky i s dresem Johnnyho Gaudreaua.

„Kvůli play off NHL samozřejmě MS nemá tolik pozornosti, kolik by si zasloužilo. Ale my jsme chtěli udělat týmový úspěch,“ pokračoval.

Scottie Scheffler, Justin Thomas laud PGA Tour decision to return Tour Championship to stroke-play format

Getty Images While it's hard to find anything in sports that is unanimously agreed upon, it appears that that is indeed the case when it comes to the PGA Tour's recent decision to bring the traditional stroke-play format back to the Tour Championship. Since 2019, the Tour Championship had used a starting strokes model, which gave golfers who finished higher in the FedEx Cup standings a negative strokes advantage entering the first round of the tournament. Moving forward, the Tour Championship will be played as a 72-hole event where all players will start at even par with the week's best performer being crowned the winner of the prestigious FedEx Cup. "I didn't love the previous format of starting strokes, and I really like the direction where we're going," Scottie Scheffler, the world's No. 1 ranked player and reigning FedEx Cup champion, said on […]

Stefon Diggs’ yacht video a bad look for Patriots’ biggest offseason gamble

Getty FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- It is not usually a good sign when one player is the subject of the first six questions to the head coach in a May press conference, but that's the situation Stefon Diggs finds himself. Mike Vrabel was peppered on Wednesday minutes before his New England Patriots started their OTA session (the second open to the media) about his wide receiver. Diggs had gone viral in the hours leading up to Vrabel stepping in front of a microphone after a video emerged of the veteran partying on a yacht and handing what appeared to be a pink substance in a baggie to a woman on the vessel. Vrabel said team is aware of the situation and confirmed he had spoken to Diggs just like he has with every player on the roster, but would not divulge any more about […]

Meet Paris Saint-Germain’s squad: Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Ousmane Dembele lead Champions League finalists

Getty Images Paris Saint-Germain return to the UEFA Champions League final for the second time in five years on Saturday vs Inter (3 p.m. ET on Paramount+), but this version of the team is very different from the 2020 finalists – and goes against the club's recent tendencies of hoarding star players. The French champions did not formally replace Kylian Mbappe when he left for Real Madrid last summer, with manager Luis Enrique instead building a team that is defined by their unique style of play rather than a collection of brilliant individuals.
