Quem espera que o Botafogo traga algum nome de impacto para a janela de transferências do segundo semestre, terá que ter expectativas mais realistas neste aspecto. O clube carioca já tem fechada sua rota de transferências para a sequência do ano e esta deverá contar com menos nomes ‘de peso’
De acordo com o GE, o que a cúpula do futebol do Glorioso deseja é nomes considerados ‘pontuais’. Neste segundo semestre, os investimentos da janela serão visando preencher alguns pontos do time aos quais a comissão técnica vê como necessários para manter o time brigando no Brasileirão, Libertadores e Copa do Brasil.
Nomes já acertados
São três as posições nas quais os botafoguenses tem mirado, uma delas já tendo alinhada a chegada de reforços. Com necessidades na zaga, especialmente pelas lesões de Bastos e Barboza, a SAF alvinegra já estaria encaminhando dois nomes para chegar em breve a General Severiano: Abner, do Juventude, e Kaio Pantaleão, campeão russo com o Krasnodar.
Meio-campo e ataque também são posições que terão prioridade na análise do Botafogo. No setor ofensivo, também há jogador que está se acertando com os cariocas para chegar na abertura da janela, o atacante argentino Álvaro Montoro. O jogador, que é destaque do Vélez Sársfield e tem as atenções dos cariocas desde o começo do ano.
Sem nomes de peso
A política de reforços para a janela do meio do ano não deverá incluir grandes gastos por nomes de peso, como aconteceu em janelas recentes. Neste meio do ano, Wendel chegaria ao Glorioso como o principal nome botafoguense no mercado da bola, mas a negociação com o Zenit teve que ser cancelada
Ela envolveria R$ 128 milhões para tirar o atleta da Rússia e, com a suspensão, o valor não deverá ser, na visão do portal, ‘desperdiçado’ e sim há o potencial de que este seja remanejado para custear as negociações desejadas pelos botafoguenses, as que estão acertadas e aquelas as quais o time pretende investir.
A disputa da Copa do Mundo de Clubes da Fifa não afetaria ao menos por enquanto, a atitude do Botafogo quanto ao mercado. Mas tentar trazer atletas que possam estar à disposição para o tornei também está na mira do clube
