Der exzentrische Zocker gehört zu den unbeliebtesten Spielern auf der Tour, sorgt mit seinem Trash-Talk immer wieder für Ärger an den Tischen. Auch bei diesem Event wurde mehrfach der Floorman (Turnierleiter) gerufen, weil Kabrhel wieder für Unruhe gesorgt hatte. So legte er sich diesmal mit den Top-Spielern Nick Schulman und Shaun Deeb an.
Seine nervige und anstrengende Art gehört aber zu seiner Spielweise. So versucht er seine Gegner zu verunsichern und sich einen Vorteil zu verschaffen. Brisant: Vor zwei Jahren wurde er bei der WSOP der Karten-Manipulation beschuldigt. Allerdings konnte ihm nie etwas nachgewiesen werden. Dennoch forderten mehrere Top-Stars den Turnier-Ausschluss von Kabrhel bei der WSOP. Eine Aktion, die aber keinen Erfolg hatte. Stattdessen kämpft er Samstagabend gegen das deutsche Duo um den Titel.

Trojand und Riebau-Schmithals werden aber harte Gegner für den Bad-Boy. Beide liegen nach dem 2. Tag unter den Top-Chipcounts, gehen mit mächtig Selbstvertrauen ins Finale. Wird es das 1. schwarz-rot-goldene Gold-Armband werden? Kabrhel wird alles daran setzen, das Ganze zu verhindern. Neben dem Bracelet geht es auch noch um die Siegprämie von rund 550.000 Euro. Für die beiden Deutschen wäre es jeweils der größte Karriere-Erfolg.
Der Amerikaner David Shmuel holt das 1. wichtige Gold-Armband nach Hause. Beim 1,500 Dollar Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better, einer anderen Poker-Variante, setzte er sich gegen 909 Spieler durch, kassierte rund 200.000 Euro.
