Trenére, jak vám je po zvládnuté baráži?
Emoce už trochu opadly, ale musel jsem to rozdýchat. Byly to opravdu složité momenty. Jsem rád, že jsme to nakonec zvládli.
V Chrudimi jste se ale o výsledek hodně báli.
Tři poločasy jsme měli pod kontrolou. A pak přišla situace, která se vůbec neměla stát. Šancl hrubě porušil disciplínu. Mluvili jsme spolu a jasně jsme si řekli, že něco takového se už nikdy nesmí opakovat. Jeho vyloučení nás mohlo stát záchranu. Ale nebylo to jen o něm – mohli jsme být aktivnější, klidnější. I když to bylo složité, tým se semkl a s přispěním štěstí jsme cíl splnili. Jsem na kluky pyšný.
Co jste si říkal po té facce, kterou Filip Šancl uštědřil domácímu brankáři?
Budu úplně upřímný – měl jsem obrovský vztek. V těch emocích jsem si říkal, že by si taky jednu výchovnou zasloužil. Naštěstí to dopadlo dobře. Ale v tu chvíli to byl obrovský průšvih.
Vyrovnávací gól Chrudimi nakonec neplatil. Co jste cítil, když padl?
Peklo. Poprosil jsem asistenta Mílu Černého, aby to na chvíli převzal. Nebyl tolik zatížený emocemi a zvládl to výborně. Kluci to pak doslova uskákali. Musím ale dát kredit i Chrudimi, která hrála výborně.
Jak těžké bylo hrát o záchranu?
Nesmírně. Jako hlavní trenér nesu zodpovědnost za všechno. Věděl jsem, do čeho jdu, a počítal s tím. Byla to moje první taková zkušenost – a i když náročná, jsem za ni rád. Dotáhli jsme tým k záchraně, to je nejdůležitější. Ale cítím, že máme rezervy.

Během zápasu i po něm se do vás pustili fanoušci. Co vám říkali?
Bylo nepříjemné poslouchat, když na mě někdo křičí, že jsem k*kot nebo h*vado. Jsem jen člověk, který se snaží odvádět maximum. Možná jsem v tom naivní, ale nejsem na fanoušky naštvaný. Jen bych chtěl, aby pochopili jednu věc.
Povídejte.
Všechno má mít nějaké hranice. To, že si zakřičí, že jsou nespokojení – to chápu, to skousnu. Ale tohle už je za čárou. Chybí mi úcta. Celou sezonu jsme bojovali i za ně.
Co udělat pro to, aby se taková sezona už neopakovala?
Teď se na to těžko hledá odpověď. Žádný trenér, hráč ani funkcionář nechce být fackovacím panákem. Chceme být konkurenceschopní. Víme, že jsme měli velký problém dávat góly, na každý jsme se nadřeli. Potřebujeme přivést minimálně dva ofenzivní hráče, kteří budou nebezpeční. V defenzivě jsme se hodně zlepšili, tam jsem byl spokojený.
