Ronaldo Nazário foi o grande convidado para a estreia do Galvão e Amigos, programa de Galvão Bueno na Band TV, exibido na noite da última segunda-feira (31). Durante a atração esportiva, o Fenômeno abordou diversos temas sobre o futebol brasileiro. Dessa forma, o ex-jogador não deixou de falar de seu interesse pela presidência da CBF.
R9 explicou que seu interesse em assumir a Confederação Brasileira de Futebol (CBF) não era formar oposição com Ednaldo Rodrigues, por exemplo. Segundo o pentacampeão do mundo, seu grande desejo é reformular o futebol brasileiro. Isso porque o futebol praticado no Brasil já se encontra ultrapassado.
“Bom Galvão, eu me senti primeiro na obrigação, comigo mesmo, e pelo futebol, de tentar. Me preparei, me organizei tentei; fiz meu melhor. Articulei bastante, conversei com presidentes de clubes, vários presidentes de Federações. Mas na hora H, não consegui o apoio que precisava”, iniciou Ronaldo, protagonista da Copa do Mundo de 2002.
Ronaldo comenta seu desejo em assumir CBF
O Fenômeno destacou que seu desejo em presidir a CBF seria por conta da falta de investimentos que o futebol brasileiro atravessa. Além disso, ele destacou que em uma perspectiva de futuro, o cenário sobre o futebol do Brasil é muito desanimador.
“Minha pré-candidatura era realmente para ajudar o futebol. Porque eu me sinto capaz de fazer isso. Não deu certo, ok, mas eu posso ajudar de outra maneira”, explicou Ronaldo.
“Muitos esperam que eu seja aquela oposição massacrante e oportunista. E eu não quero ser isso, não é meu estilo. Eu quero ajudar o futebol; meu propósito sempre foi esse”, enfatizou Ronaldo no programa do Galvão Bueno.
Na sequência, o ex-jogador de Cruzeiro, Barcelona, Internazionale, Real Madrid, Milan e Corinthians se colocou à disposição de Ednaldo Rodrigues. Portanto, o Fenômeno disse querer ajudar o presidente da CBF no que estiver a seu alcance com sua influência, em prol do futebol brasileiro.
“A posição que eu tenho no futebol, eu não preciso de status para ajudar. E eu quero dizer aqui para o Ednaldo, muito abertamente, que ele não é meu inimigo e eu não sou inimigo dele”, comentou R9, direcionando recado ao mandatário da CBF.
Futebol brasileiro precisa “recuperar tempo perdido”
Ronaldo aproveitou a oportunidade para fazer um prognóstico em relação ao futuro do futebol do Brasil. Nas palavras do lendário ex-atacante da seleção brasileira, a tendência é que o futebol brasileiro decaia ainda mais. Dessa forma, destacou a necessidade de recuperar o tempo perdido.
“O futebol precisa sim de reformulação, precisa de investimento. O futebol brasileiro precisa principalmente recuperar o tempo perdido, porque está parado há muito tempo. Mas precisa ser feito coisas e eu me sentia capaz de fazer.”, proferiu o ex-jogador.
“E espero do fundo do meu coração que ele [Ednaldo Rodrigues] possa fazer, que possa reconhecer que o futebol brasileiro passa por um momento muito ruim. Mas não é só isso, a perspectiva de futuro é pior do que o momento atual, porque não temos investimentos”, concluiu Ronaldo, alertando para a falta de aportes no jovens, nos treinadores e no futebol feminino.
Vale lembrar que Ronaldo ensaiou sua candidatura à presidência da CBF. No entanto, após não conseguir o apoio suficiente, o ex-atacante anunciou sua desistência e Ednaldo Rodrigues foi candidato único. E assim se reelegeu ao cargo de presidente da entidade máxima do futebol brasileiro.
