Diego Souza sinaliza centroavante “fanfarrão” no Brasil: “Ia chegar mais longe”

Diego Souza avalia que os centroavantes de ofício merecem ser valorizados no Brasil. Em debate na Central do Pré-Jogo, o discurso de Deyverson, em 2023, motivou um desabafo sobre a atual obrigação dos goleadores. Porém, antes disso, o atacante do Fortaleza, protagonista de momentos inusitados, foi chamado de “fanfarrão”, algo prejudicial para o desempenho em campo.

“Esse moleque é muito bom jogador. Se ele fosse menos fanfarrão, ia chegar muito mais longe. Eu acho bom jogador.”, disse Diego Souza.

Após o Cuiabá vencer o Flamengo, pelo Brasileirão, Deyverson trouxe detalhes do confronto. Revelando que a falta de intensidade defensiva de Pedro acabou sendo explorada, o atacante despertou uma grande irritação em Diego Souza.

“Eu vi uma entrevista do Deyverson. Foi na TV e pegou lá o quadro. Falou que eles saiam por um lado, o Pedro não marcava e por isso ganharam do Flamengo.”

Diego Souza vê situação fora da curva

Apesar da vitória de 3 a 0 com autoridade, Diego Souza lembrou que, dentro da normalidade, o Flamengo deve vencer o Cuiabá em praticamente todos os embates. Neste cenário, o ex-jogador, ao destacar o principal papel dos artilheiros, não aconselha uma mudança tática no retorno de Pedro aos gramados.

“Eles ganharam um jogo de mil. Tá entendendo? Se jogar mais mil, vão perder 999. Naquele jogo, a tática deu certo e o Pedro foi o culpado. Quem marca zagueiro, goleiro, atacante e lateral não faz um gol. Gente, vamos se atentar às coisas. Pelo amor de Deus! O atacante tem que fazer gol.”, afirmou.

Durante o programa Boleiragem, Deyverson explicou como Pedro foi utilizado na estratégia do Cuiabá. Sempre atento, o ex-jogador do Palmeiras, em 2021, teve uma postura decisiva em pressionar Andreas Pereira antes de garantir o título da Libertadores.

“O que o Pedro vai fazer? Ele vai dar o pique aqui (para pressionar o zagueiro), mas não volta (para marcar o volante). E quem tá lá (no lateral-esquerdo) não vai sair. Se o Pedro voltasse, ajudaria para poder sair. Eu faço isso porque é o meu jeito, dar o 100% para o time. O Pedro não é muito de pressionar.”, afirmou.
