Puede haber cambio de rey en A1 Pádel. Tras una temporada 2024 en la que dominaron Tolito Aguirre y Gonza Alfonso, el trono del circuito de Fabrice Pastor cayó en manos de Maxi Arce, pero esa posición de privilegio podría pasar a Ramiro Pereyra, convirtiéndose en el tercer número uno desde el mes de marzo.
Hace apenas unos meses, ‘Los Mágicos’ lideraban el ranking. Su talento y regularidad hicieron que se convirtieran en la mejor pareja de la clasificación, pero tomaron la decisión de llevar su juego al otro circuito. Premier Padel disfruta ahora de los inesperados golpes de la dupla argentina, por lo que los puntos de A1 fueron reducidos a cero. Una decisión que tuvo como consecuencia el nombramiento de Maxi Arce como el nuevo número uno.
El zurdo salteño es un histórico de la competición de Fabrice Pastor. Junto a Franco Dal Bianco forman una pareja ideal, que no solo da un gran rendimiento en cuanto a resultados, sino también un gran espectáculo en la pista. La pasada temporada estuvieron a un altísimo nivel y le pusieron las cosas muy complicadas a Tolito y Gonza. Sin embargo, este 2025 no ha empezado nada bien para ellos.

La caída en los octavos de final del Grandmaster de Francia no hace más que evidenciar la pequeña crisis que atraviesa la dupla y que podría tener como consecuencia la pérdida del liderato de la clasificación por parte de Arce. Pese a ser los grandes favoritos, no han logrado levantar ninguno de los tres títulos que han disputado. No ganan un torneo desde octubre y, tras convertirse en la mejor pareja de rebote, podrían volver a bajar un peldaño en el podio si no consiguen darle la vuelta a la situación en las próximas fechas.
Ramiro Pereyra apunta al cielo
A la mala racha de Maxi y Franco se le ha sumado el increíble momento de forma que atraviesan Ramiro Pereyra y Juani De Pascual. Dos de las tres pruebas disputadas hasta la fecha han terminado con ellos como campeones. La del Grandmaster fue un auténtico golpe encima de la mesa y un claro aviso de que quieren comerse el mundo este año.
El que ocuparía esa posición de número uno sería Ramiro. El revés de 26 años nacido en Mar de Plata cuenta con 9420 puntos en su haber, a tan solo 430 de Arce. Juani, por su parte, está cuarto con 8010 y todavía está lejos de esa pelea. Sin embargo, Pereyra está a cualquier tropiezo de los números uno de asaltar el trono y colocarse en la cabeza esa corona que todos buscan.
La situación del ranking de A1 Pádel.
En la Race, que solo tiene en cuenta lo conseguido en 2025, ya son los que lideran. Sin embargo, deberán seguir jugando al mismo nivel si quieren mantener su puesto. Los dos próximos torneos son de categoría Open (1000 puntos para el ganador) y se celebrarán a finales de abril y principios de mayo en Lanzarote y Toledo. Ganando uno y haciendo mejor papel que Franco y Maxi en otro, habría un nuevo rey en A1 Pádel.
El momento que lo cambió todo
Hubo un momento que hizo que esta lucha fuera posible. Un partido que cambió las dinámicas de ambas parejas. Se vieron las caras en la final del Open de Tucumán, la primera fecha del calendario. El primer set y la mitad del segundo cayó del lado de Arce y Dal Bianco. Lo tenían todo para cerrar el partido, pero una espectacular remontada le dio el título a la pareja dos.
Maxi y Franco venían jugando muy bien hasta ese momento, pero desde entonces no han vuelto a encontrar buenas sensaciones. Tras Tucumán, volvieron a perder otra final ante Solano y Abud y justo después fue esa caída en octavos en Francia. Una serie de desgracias que tuvieron su origen en Tucumán y que siguen merodeando en la cabeza de los argentinos.
