Vanderlei Luxemburgo foi convicto ao destacar o momento turbulento da seleção brasileira e indicou um nome que poderia alavancar o processo de remontada: Muricy Ramalho. Presente no “Galvão e Amigos” desta segunda (7), ele indicou o profissional para ser coordenador na equipe.
Na avaliação dele, o Brasil caminha para ter um treinador estrangeiro no cargo, dada a escassez no futebol brasileiro. Na avaliação dele, o Brasil já passou da hora de ter um profissional de experiência nos bastidores, fazendo o ‘meio-campo’ entre jogadores e comissão técnica, e a sugestão foi clara.
“Eu acho que para podermos ter um técnico brasileiro, precisamos melhorar aquilo que está acontecendo no Brasil em termos de futebol. Não tem como não achar que não tem espaço para um estrangeiro. Nas grandes equipes no Brasil estiveram bons treinadores, Abel Ferreira e Jorge Jesus”, iniciou Luxemburgo.
“CBF, se você não quiser ter problema que o Dorival Júnior teve agora, faz o que o Muricy estava fazendo no SPFC, leva ele para a seleção, como coordenador técnico, para ter um pessoa campeã, que tem personalidade e não tem trairagem. Não temos isso hoje. Uma pessoa que seja referência”, completou.

O cenário mencionado por Vanderlei Luxemburgo já foi tentado pela CBF recentemente, quando Dorival Júnior desembarcou no comando técnico da seleção brasileira no ciclo da Copa do Mundo de 2026.
Na oportunidade, o treinador que possui uma relação próxima com Muricy, ligou para o coordenador, tentando convencê-lo de assumir uma função nos bastidores, mas o profissional declinou.
O ex-técnico, que inclusive, já havia recusado um convite da CBF para assumir a seleção no passado, optou por cumprir seu vínculo com o SPFC. Na conversa sobre o tema nesta segunda, Muricy não descartou a possibilidade de eventualmente assumir uma função, mas para isso precisa estar ‘livre’.
Quem é o mais cotado para seleção?
Passadas duas semanas da demissão de Dorival Júnior, a CBF ainda não conseguiu fechar com um novo comandante para a sequência da caminhada no ciclo de 2026. O nome de Jorge Jesus é o mais viável nos bastidores da entidade, haja vista que o contrato do português está perto do fim no Al-Hilal.
Publicamente, o ex-treinador do Flamengo já manifestou diversas vezes o interesse de ser o comandante da seleção brasileira, classificando como um sonho a ser realizado na carreira.
