No programa “Galvão e Amigos”, exibido pela Band, o comentarista Walter Casagrande foi questionado sobre o novo treinador da seleção brasileira, que está sem comandante após demitir Dorival Júnior.
O ex-jogador foi perguntado se gostaria de ver um técnico estrangeiro ou brasileiro. Então, Casagrande afirma que não tem preferência por nacionalidade
“Para mim tem que ser um treinador competente, não importa o passaporte”, iniciou.
Casagrande sugere nomes
Na sequência, o comentarista citou cinco nomes que gostaria de ver treinando a seleção, sendo dois portugueses e três brasileiros.
“Eu fico com Abel Ferreira, Jorge Jesus, Filipe Luís, Renato Gaúcho e Roger Machado. Todos eles têm competência”, finalizou o comentarista.

O ex-treinador Muricy Ramalho, que era o convidado do programa de ontem, também deu a sua opinião sobre o assunto.
Para ele, não importa a nacionalidade, mas tem que ter trabalhado no futebol brasileiro, descartando, então, nomes como Ancelotti, Mourinho e Guardiola. Sendo assim, Muricy indicou quatro nomes.
“Tem que ser algum técnico que trabalhou aqui. Nós temos o Roger Machado, Rogério Ceni, Abel Ferreira e Jorge Jesus”, opinou Muricy.
Outros nomes da mídia esportiva também opinaram sobre quem deveria comandar a seleção brasileira, mas sempre citando os mesmos nomes. Craque Neto, por exemplo, foi por outro caminho, sugerindo Dunga no comando técnico.
Próximo jogo da seleção brasileira
Após a dura derrota para a Argentina, a seleção brasileira entra em campo apenas em junho, para dois compromissos pelas Eliminatórias.
No dia 4 de junho, o Brasil encara o Equador, fora de casa. Depois, no dia 9 do mesmo mês, o adversário será o Paraguai, em casa, ainda sem definição de estádio.
Em quarto lugar nas Eliminatórias, a seleção pentacampeã do mundo não deve ter dificuldades para classificar à Copa do Mundo, mas o fraco futebol preocupa para o futuro, tendo gerado a demissão de Dorival e Fernando Diniz anteriormente.
