Depois de realizar 11 contratações na janela de transferências no começo de 2025, o Santos se prepara para novos investimentos no meio do ano e dois nomes estão no radar: Lucas Veríssimo e Willian Arão. Fábio Sormani não concordou com as possíveis contratações e criticou os alvos do Peixe.
“Não contrataria (o Arão) de jeito nenhum, não tem necessidade de contratar esse jogador, até porque o Santos é bem servido nesta posição. Não contrataria o Veríssimo nem a pau, ele é um jogador que nunca mostrou que gosta do Santos. Vocês viram como ele saiu, você tem que respeitar o torcedor”, declarou o jornalista, que mencionou algumas atitudes negativas do defensor.
Apesar do interesse, ainda não há qualquer tipo de avanço nas negociações, segundo informações do Uol. O ex-Flamengo Arão é encarado como uma possibilidade menos complicada, pois o contrato com o Panathinaikos, da Grécia, termina em junho. O zagueiro, por outro lado, seria um investimento mais complexo por ele ter vínculo em vigor com o Al-Duhail, do Catar.
