Sormani argumentou que Neymar é capaz de “intimidar” os adversários mesmo estando em um momento ruim fisicamente. Um dos jogadores mais talentosos deste século, o camisa 10 não entra em campo desde o dia 2 de março, em partida válida pelas quartas de final do Campeonato Paulista.
“O Santos precisa muito dele. Além de desequilibrar pela qualidade, ele passa confiança aos companheiros e intimidade o adversário. Não adianta vir com esse papo furado que ele é um ex-jogador em atividade. Ele está em atividade, tem muita lenha para queimar e os adversários temem o Neymar”, declarou o comentarista, em seu canal no YouTube.
Após mais de um mês se recuperando, Neymar está relacionado para o jogo contra o Fluminense pelo Brasileirão Série A, neste domingo (13), no Maracanã, às 19h30 (de Brasília). No entanto, ele deve começar no banco de reservas e entrar apenas no decorrer da partida.
Depois que retornou ao Peixe, o craque engrenou uma sequência de jogos como titular, mas voltou a ter problemas justo na fase decisiva do Paulistão.
Sendo assim, o jornalista alertou: “Tem que ter cautela. O Santos não pode errar de novo, já errou nesse primeiro estágio como titular. Teve jogo que jogou o tempo inteiro, não pode. Tem que saber monitorar a minutagem dele. Tem que entrar 15/20 minutos do segundo tempo. Tudo isso tem que ser pensado para a gente não perder de novo o Neymar”, disse Sormani.
Neymar fica no Santos?
O astro brasileiro passou 12 anos fora do Brasil e decidiu retornar neste ano. Ele rescindiu com o Al-Hilal, da Arábia Saudita, e assinou um contrato curto de cinco meses com o Alvinegro Praiano.
Foi especulado que Neymar poderia buscar um retorno à Europa, em especial para o Barcelona, mas isso não se confirmou. Perto do fim do vínculo com o time do litoral paulista, é bem possível que ele renove até a Copa do Mundo de 2026.
“Nós estamos fazendo todo o esforço para em conjunto avaliarmos esses seis meses, na avaliação dos seis meses, a possibilidade de que ele permaneça durante mais um ano, visando a Copa do Mundo. Isso dependerá da performance, do desenvolvimento dele técnico, assim como também da questão extracampo”, explicou o presidente Marcelo Teixeira no último mês.
