Wenn sich der Bus mit den HSV Handballern heute auf Weg ins Lipperland zum Spiel beim TBV Lemgo Lippe (19 Uhr, live bei Dyn/Anzeige) macht, fährt die Ungewissheit mit.
Die unabhängige Lizenzierungskommission wird die Daikin Handball-Bundesliga (HBL) am Mittag darüber informieren, ob alle 36 sportlich qualifizierten Bewerber (1./2. Bundesliga) die Lizenz für die Saison 2025/2026 erhalten.

Am Abend herrscht dann Klarheit. Im Vorjahr musste der HSV Hamburg eine Bedingung (Schließung der Liquiditätslücke) erfüllen. Erst über den juristischen Weg (Schiedsgericht in Hannover) bekamen die Hamburger am Ende die Spielerlaubnis. Philipp J. Müller, inzwischen Mitglied des HSV-Aufsichtsrats, sicherte die Lizenz mit einer siebenstelligen Summe.
Eine ähnliche Bedingung dürfte erneut Bestandteil der Pressemitteilung sein wird.

Nach SPORT BILD-Informationen sollen alle 36 sportlich qualifizierten Bewerber die Lizenz erhalten, sofern Auflagen eingehalten und Bedingungen erfüllt werden.
