Segundo a TV inglesa Sky Sports, o treinador italiano deve deixar o clube merengue depois da final da Copa do Rei, contra o Barcelona, no dia 26 de abril.
Embora o Real Madrid ainda dispute o título da La Liga e tenha um confronto direto com o líder Barcelona, Ancelotti deve deixar o comando da equipe merengue antes do fim da competição. A expectativa é que o italiano já não esteja no banco de reservas do time no “El Clásico”, disputado no dia 11 de maio.
Depois da derrota para o Arsenal, no jogo da volta das quartas de finais da Liga dos Campeões, o técnico Carlo Ancelotti não quis falar sobre seu futuro. Em entrevista na saída de campo, logo após a partida, o comandante desconversou sobre uma possível saída do Real Madrid.
— Não sei o que vai ser do meu futuro e não quero saber. Ainda tem tempo (para decidir) — disse o treinador.
