La disputa por la posesión de un inmueble en el municipio de Chalco, Estado de México, escaló hasta un desenlace fatal. Carlota “N“, una mujer de 74 años, llegó armada junto a dos de sus hijos a una vivienda ubicada en la colonia Unidad Habitacional Ex Hacienda de Guadalupe. Su objetivo: desalojar a quienes consideraba invasores de su propiedad. Lo que comenzó como una discusión derivó en un ataque armado que dejó dos muertos y un menor herido.

Cámaras de seguridad captaron el momento en que Carlota “N” arribó al domicilio en un vehículo Ford Fiesta gris, acompañada por un hombre y una mujer. Al descender del automóvil, la mujer sacó un arma de fuego y, sin mediar palabras, apuntó contra las personas que se encontraban en el patio de la vivienda.
Justin “N”, un joven de 19 años, y su padre, Esaú “N”, de 51, intentaron resguardarse, pero Carlota disparó en repetidas ocasiones. Un adolescente de 14 años, identificado como Cristian, resultó herido en ambas piernas al tratar de auxiliar a las víctimas. A pesar de los gritos de la esposa y madre de los afectados, pidiendo que detuviera el ataque, la agresora continuó disparando hasta que decidió huir junto a sus acompañantes en el mismo vehículo.

El crimen conmocionó a la comunidad y movilizó a las autoridades estatales. La Fiscalía General de Justicia del Estado de México, en colaboración con la Secretaría de Seguridad estatal y Policías Municipales de Chimalhuacán y Chicoloapan, logró la captura de Carlota “N” y sus dos acompañantes la tarde del 2 de abril.
Durante las investigaciones, se reveló que la mujer es madre de Arturo Santana, exdiputado del PRD. Sin embargo, hasta el momento, las autoridades no han vinculado oficialmente al exlegislador con el caso.
Los primeros reportes indican que Carlota “N” acudió previamente a la Fiscalía para denunciar la presunta invasión de su inmueble, pero no obtuvo respuesta. Ante la inacción de las autoridades, habría decidido tomar la justicia en sus manos, lo que culminó en un doble homicidio.
