O Flamengo tem negociação avançada para trazer pelo menos um reforço na metade da temporada. Trata-se do meio-campista Jorginho, que atua no Arsenal. Para o jornalista Flávio Prado, a contratação pode se tornar uma dor de cabeça devido ao histórico de lesões do atleta de 33 anos.
Durante o “Bate-Pronto”, na rádio Jovem Pan, o comentarista do programa comparou a possível contratação com o uruguaio De La Cruz, que chegou ao Flamengo em 2024, mas que teve uma temporada repleta de lesões e desfalcou o time em vários jogos.
“Tem que pensar muito para evitar problemas como aconteceu com o De La Cruz, que está de novo fora…”, alertou Flávio Prado.
“Já tem o problema do Arrascaeta que vem se repetindo. O De La Cruz nunca jogou o que jogou no River também por problemas de contusões”, continuou.
Flávio Prado destaca responsabilidade dos médicos
Antes de confirmar o acerto com Jorginho, o Flamengo deve ter uma minuciosa atenção e aval dos médicos do clube para a contratação, segundo o comentarista da Jovem Pan.
“Você vai trazer mais um jogador problemático por uma fortuna? É para se pensar bastante. Tem que fazer muitos exames médicos. Tem que ter o aval do departamento médico do Flamengo para que se possa investir forte no jogador”, indicou.
“Ele, em forma, é claro é muito bom, vai ser útil e vai entregar mesmo em final de carreira”, salientou Flávio Prado.
Jorginho tem Flamengo como prioridade
Com contrato somente até 30 de junho no Arsenal, o meio-campista ítalo-brasileiro tem muito interesse em atuar pelo Flamengo, mas admite também que vai ouvir propostas de outros clubes interessados na França, na própria Inglaterra e ainda na Arábia Saudita.
A definição, no entanto, não acontecerá antes dos duelos do Arsenal com o Real Madrid, pelas quartas de final da Champions League.
