Diego Souza avalia que, inicialmente, quatro clubes surgem como favoritos ao título do Brasileirão. Além de Flamengo e Palmeiras, colocados em um patamar acima, Atlético-MG e Internacional foram incluídos no grupo. Na sequência da tabela, houve uma sinalização de que os demais times vão ficar “embolados”, algo capaz de motivar uma disputa emocionante contra o rebaixamento.
“O Campeonato Brasileiro deste ano vai ser um dos campeonatos mais disputados. Vai destoar o Palmeiras, Flamengo, Internacional e Atlético-MG. Flamengo e Palmeiras um degrau acima e os outros ali (na sequência).”, disse Diego Souza, na Central do Pré-Jogo, no YouTube.
“O miolo para rebaixamento vai ficar muito embolado. Vão ser jogos que um ganha aqui e perde ali… quem não se preparar, da 20º rodada para frente, vai ser ‘socorro, Deus’.”, acrescentou.
Botafogo em patamar abaixo?
Descartando o Botafogo entre os favoritos, Diego Souza não tem dúvidas sobre a mudança de nível do significativa. Ao ilustrar o “veto” de qualidade atrelado ao Glorioso, o ex-jogador vê um cenário oposto que impede uma projeção otimista.
“O time era muito diferente. Quando pegava mano a mano, passava. Neste ano, não tá passando. A ‘cancela’ tá fechada. Tá difícil.”, opinou.

Logo de cara, o Botafogo tem pela frente o maior rival das últimas duas edições do Brasileirão. Sem ficar encantado com o desempenho do atual campeão nacional, Diego Souza aposta no Palmeiras somando três pontos na primeira rodada.
