Zinho subiu o tom fortemente contra o lateral-esquerdo Guilherme Arana, do Atlético-MG, ao repercutir no “ESPN FC” desta quarta (26) a derrota da seleção brasileira para a Argentina, pelo placar de 4 a 1, nas Eliminatórias, e classificou que o jogador está ‘devendo futebol’ há um bom tempo.
Na avaliação do tetra, há uma supervalorização sobre o desempenho do jogador que tem sido titular da seleção, mas o rendimento está abaixo e pouco se fala em tom de cobrança.
“Ele joga mais ou menos aí a imprensa, nós, ‘Arana, monstro, joga demais’. Faz tempo que eu não vejo. Todo os gols foram pelo lado dele e do Murillo”, opinou o ex-jogador.

Titular nos dois confrontos do Brasil na Data Fifa de março, Guilherme Arana acumula 13 jogos na temporada 2025, e ainda não balançou as redes adversárias. No último ano, o lateral do Atlético-MG computou cinco gols e 10 assistências nos 51 jogos realizados.
Forte candidato a figurar na Copa do Mundo, o lateral alvinegro acabou ficando de fora do último mundial por conta de uma lesão às vésperas da convocação do técnico Tite, e não figurou entre os 26 listados para a competição no Qatar.
Zinho aponta falta de liderança
Ainda abordando a atuação da seleção brasileira, Zinho foi enfático ao cobrar uma postura mais enérgica e incisiva dos jogadores, classificando que houve muita conivência no embate contra os argentinos, que foram superiores em todos os aspectos, e ainda desdenharam da equipe canarinho.
