Bia Haddad resolveu dispensar o técnico francês Maxime Tchoutakian. O agora, ex-treinador, fazia parte da equipe técnica desde dezembro de 2024. O rompimento foi confirmado pela assessoria da atleta ao Torcedores.com
“Oi, pessoal, não estou mais com Haddad Maia e disponível para novos projetos. Me chamem.”, escreveu o profissional, em suas redes sociais. Ele girava o circuito em dupla com Rafael Paciaroni, treinador de Bia. Rafael treina Bia Haddad, desde 2020.
Bia não vem em bom momento no circuito da WTA
O fato é que Bia Haddad não vem em um bom momento no circuito mundial. Apesar dela ser top 20 há três anos, a atual temporada não começou boa em termos de resultados para a brasileira de 29 anos. Bia foi eliminada na rodada de estreia nos sete campeonatos que jogou, até agora.
“É uma questão minha, comigo, de condução de emoção. Estou consciente do que eu venho fazendo bem e estou consciente do que não estou fazendo bem.”, refletiu ela em entrevista a ESPN, após ser eliminada do Masters 1000 de Miami.
Brasileira já definiu calendário até Roland Garros
Em termos da continuidade da temporada, Bia Haddad já definiu seu calendário até a disputa de Roland Garros, segundo Grand Slam do ano.
Ela se juntará a equipe brasileira da Billie Jean King Cup que enfrenta a Tchéquia entre 10 e 12 de abril. Depois, jogará o WTA 500 de Stuttgart e os WTA 1000 de Madri e Roma, todos em quadras de saibro.
A paulistana se retirou da chave de duplas de Miami onde, mais uma vez, faria dupla com a alemã Laura Siegmund. Além disso, houve o pedido de dispensa do WTA 500 de Charleston que é jogado sobre o har-tru (saibro verde) nos EUA.
Bia Haddad deve ganhar uma posição no ranking
Apesar do péssimo momento em quadra, a tenista dona de quatro títulos de WTA na carreira deve subir uma posição no ranking mundial indo do 18º para o 17º lugar. A confirmação deve vir nesta segunda-feira (31).
