Kate Middleton marked Mother’s Day in the United Kingdom by heralding nature as the 43-year-old Princess of Wales continues to put the memories of her tough 2024 behind her.
The UK marks the occasion on March 30 as families celebrate their matriarchs, who are often so central to making sure households run properly – even at the scale of the British Royal Family.
Middleton, mother to George, Charlotte and Louis, even paid her on tribute on the day by praising Mother Nature as she opts to celebrate the environment and the planet she lives on.
“Over the past year, nature has been our sanctuary,” Middleton captioned her Instagram post. “This Mother’s Day, let us celebrate Mother Nature.
“And recognize how our bond with the natural world can help not only nurture our inner selves, but remind us too of the role we play within the rich tapestry of life. C.”
Middleton leaves 2024 controversy behind
Nature has been a big theme for Middleton since she began her battle against cancer, opting into holistic methods and approaches as a way to boost her fight against the condition as well as retaining her mental health.
When she announced her diagnosis of cancer to the world, she was sat in a garden surrounded by grass and colorful flowers. When she announced she completed chemotherapy, she did so with footage from woodlands and at the beach too.
Close to the real world, Middleton has bought into nature before as she posted a photo of the family for Mother’s Day in 2024 in what was her first ‘sighting’ was since her surgery in January.
But the nice moment quickly soured, as observers pointed out she had digitally edited the photo when they studied Princess Charlotte‘s hand only making the noise surrounding what was going on with her louder.
