La Kings League ha atravesado durante los últimos meses una situación un tanto complicada como proyecto, ya que, poco a poco la implicación de los presidentes ha ido bajando, lo que se ha traducido en dos cosas principalmente, primero la bajada en el nivel del espectáculo, y como es normal, la bajada progresiva de audiencia, ya que los espectadores veían como sus streamers favoritos estaban más ausentes. Pero aún así, bajo este contexto de crisis, Gerard Piqué y su equipo han conseguido que su proyecto creciera poco a poco, pero en este caso a nivel internacional, lo que es, al fin y al cabo, el objetivo final, crear este ‘universo Kings League’ con ligas por todo el mundo.
Y algo fundamental que ayudó a esto que comentábamos fue la Kings World Cup Nations, el Mundial de selecciones de la Kings League que contó con un total de 16 selecciones, todas ellas presididas y representadas por algunos de los creadores de contenido más grandes de todo el planeta, lo que dio al proyecto una repercusión internacional espectacular. Y tras esto llegó el gran paso, la creación de competiciones por todo el mundo más allá de las ya existentes, las hispanohablantes. Y es que hemos visto como en este 2025 se han creado ligas primero en Italia, más tarde en Brasil, luego en Francia y finalmente y por último en Alemania.
El Kun Agüero abandona la Kings League España
Y es que con esto, el panorama que conocíamos de la Kings League cambiaba por completo, ya que España y Lationamérica ya no eran las únicas protagonistas de este universo. Pero esto además influye en más cosas como las cesiones internacionales, en las que los clubes de todo el mundo se pueden prestar jugadores. Pero este proyecto no ha sufrido grandes cambios únicamente a nivel general, ya que hoy mismo se ha anunciado una modificación en la Kings League España que no se había dado hasta ahora y que, crea un precedente para que se pueda repetir en un futuro.
Hablamos de la noticia bomba del Kun Agüero, el que decidía dejar la Kings League España y la Queens League España tras más de dos años en ella. El argentino tras muchos momentos en nuestro país tomaba la decisión de hacer las maletas y buscar nuevas aventuras en su casa, Latinoamérica, ya que esto no es una despedida definitiva, es una mudanza a la Kings League Américas, una decisión que tiene sentido si tenemos en cuenta que su comunidad más grande está en Argentina y que él vive en el continente americano, por lo que, a partir de ahora, va a tener más facilidades para poder estar en el día a día del equipo y desplazarse para estar más presente.
Y es que como es lógico, si Kunisports abandona la Kings League España, Kunitas también dejará la Queens League España y con el club su presidenta también argentina Jo Valicenti, la que, junto al Kun, también hará las maletas para cambiar de competición. Esto es, de alguna manera, una noticia triste para nuestra liga, pues la marcha del Kun, además de representar una ruptura con los inicios del proyecto, también hace que no le vayamos a poder nunca más jugando en el césped del Cupra Arena, algo que nos gustaba a todos los fans de la Kings League y del fútbol. Además de esto, el equipo de Kun Agüero ha sido confirmado como una de las nueve wild cards que competirán en la Kings World Cup Clubs, que se celebrará en Francia en junio de 2025.
