New discoveries in the pyramids of Giza reopen Elon Musk’s theory: Were they built by aliens?

Elon Musk pointed out five years ago through his then Twitter account (now X), stating: “Obviously, the aliens built the pyramids“, this was a message that was part of a conspiracy theory that claimed that aliens built the pyramids.

Egyptian experts responded to Elon Musk after the SpaceX founder made his post, prompting Egypt’s Minister of International Cooperation to say that seeing the tombs of the pyramid builders would be proof that aliens did not build them.

The Egyptian government invited billionaire Elon Musk to visit the country and see for himself that its famous pyramids were not built by aliens.

A great discovery has now been made at the Pyramids of Giza, where something has been found that could change everything: structures of varying complexity, shape and size more than two kilometers underground.

The mystery of the Great Pyramid of Giza

For more than 4,500 years, Egypt’s pyramids have kept their secrets hidden deep within the labyrinth of passages and chambers found within their towering stone structures.

The long-running dispute over whether the Great Pyramid of Giza hides a network of as-yet-undiscovered tunnels behind its stone walls has now been answered.

This led to theories that they might be hiding a secret chamber that had not yet been discovered.

A team of experts created the ScanPyramid project to use muons, tiny subatomic particles produced when cosmic rays collide with atoms on Earth, to peer through the Pyramid’s huge stone blocks, some of which weigh up to 15 tons.

Dr. Hawass has been skeptical in the past about the usefulness of such explorations.

He recently faced off publicly with British Egyptologists over his theory that a secret burial chamber could be hidden behind the walls of Tutankhamun’s tomb in his Valley of the Kings pyramid.

The pyramids remain a mystery

The latest discovery that there are cavernous spaces beneath the pyramids was made by researchers from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow and the Italian University of Pisa.

“When we enlarge the images, we will reveal that underneath lies what can only be described as a true underground city… a whole hidden world of numerous structures,” said Corrado Malanga, one of the archaeological researchers.

It remains a mystery how much older than the pyramids the structures are.

It is also unknown what their purpose is, but they are connected by geometric passages.

Even more spectacular are the eight vertical columns that descend 2,124.5 feet into a pair of huge chambers.

The depth is almost five times the height of the Pyramid of Khafre

The cylinders are aligned in two rows of four running north to south.

Given that the edges of the Great Pyramids face exactly north, south, east and west, the arrangement of the cylinders is undoubtedly significant.

And around each pillar there is a staircase-like walkway.

The discovery of underground structures adds more intrigue to a subject that is infinitely fascinating.

Academics around the world – and the enthusiasts who avidly follow every advance – will be waiting to see what findings emerge next
