K souboji mezi dvěma talentovanými slovenskými hokejisty došlo v zápase mezi Moncton Wildcats a Quebec Rempart. Pekarčík podle serveru Sport.sk příliš aktivně napadal brankáře Quebecku, což se nelíbilo Strakovi.
Po úvodním krátkém přetahováním dresů se Pekarčík neudržel, rukavice šly dolů a začal regulérní pěstní souboj. I když byly všechny trumfy na straně staršího hráče, bitce dominoval mladší Straka.
Lepší pocit ale může mít spíše Pekarčík, protože jeho Wildcats vedou v sérii už 2:0 a jako vítěz základní části jsou i jasnými favority na titul.
