Tom Brady’s mother surprises with bizarre move against Mahomes, Chiefs and Taylor Swift

It wasn’t just die-hard Patriots fans who quietly celebrated the Kansas City Chiefs‘ shocking Super Bowl LIX meltdown-Tom Brady‘s mother, Galynn Brady, added fuel to the fire with a subtle but powerful move that has caught the NFL world’s attention.

After the Chiefs were routed 40-22 by the Philadelphia Eagles-a scoreline that flatters Kansas City, considering they trailed 40-6 late in the game-a viral rant from Boston radio host Jim Murray began circulating. In his scathing take on 98.5 The Sports Hub, Murray didn’t hold back, calling it “my favorite non-Brady-related Super Bowl in like ten-plus years.”

Tom Brady insults Eli Manning as he shows he still mad at over Super Bowl defeat

The clip, which has now amassed over 2.5 million views on Instagram, took aim at the Mahomes-Kelce-Reid machine and the media hype surrounding them.

“20-plus weeks of the slipperiest, greasiest, ref-aided wins-followed by the likes of Nick Wright shoving it down my and everybody else’s throats that they’re better than the Patriots ever were,” Murray fumed. “Can’t win with Brady in the building. Garbage-time stat-padding like a true a-hole. Kelce did nothing. Taylor Swift got booed. It was a nearly perfect night-just the best.”

Galynn Brady enters the chat… with a like

Among the thousands who celebrated Murray‘s takedown? None other than Galynn Brady, who liked the Instagram post-an unexpected public nod from the mother of the GOAT himself. While it might seem like a minor gesture, in the social media era, a “like” can say a lot.

For many fans, the move reinforced that the Brady camp-and perhaps Brady himself-are paying close attention to how the Mahomes legacy is being shaped. After all, had the Chiefs pulled off the three-peat, arguments that Patrick Mahomes had matched or even surpassed Brady would have erupted across the NFL landscape.

Instead, the loss leaves Mahomes with two Super Bowl blowouts on his resume-one against Brady’s Buccaneers in 2021, and this recent thrashing by Philly. And for Brady loyalists, that’s reason enough to breathe easy.

The viral rant, now co-signed by Galynn Brady, has been echoed by countless Patriots fans who felt slighted by the media’s push to crown the Chiefs as the next great dynasty.

With Kansas City’s momentum halted and the Brady vs. Mahomes debate momentarily cooled, it’s clear that TB12’s throne remains untouched-for now.

Shedeur Sanders’ slide shows there’s still a gap between NFL Draft’s spectacle and reality
