Zetti parabenizou Rafael pelo desempenho no empate do São Paulo contra o Sport, no último sábado (29), na estreia dos dois clubes na disputa do Campeonato Brasileiro 2025. O goleiro do Tricolor evitou que o clube nordestino abrisse o placar no Morumbis com ótimas defesas, mostrando rapidez de raciocínio e elasticidade.
Em publicação nas redes sociais, o ex-goleiro são-paulino elogiou o atual titular da meta tricolor.
“Quem aí assistiu ao jogo, ontem (sábado)? Rafael fazendo ótimas defesas, posicionando-se muito bem!”, destacou Zetti, sobre o goleiro do São Paulo.
Apesar da ótima atuação de Rafael, o São Paulo não conseguiu vencer o Sport e o jogo terminou empatado por 0 a 0.
Na próxima rodada do Brasileirão, o time comandado pelo técnico Luis Zubeldía vai encarar o Atlético-MG, fora de casa.
As duas equipes se enfrentarão no Mineirão, no próximo domingo (6). A bola rola às 16h (de Brasília).
Antes, o São Paulo vai fazer sua estreia na Libertadores, nesta quarta-feira (2), diante do Talleres, na Argentina, às 21h30 (de Brasília).
Rafael agradece apoio de Zetti
No espaço para comentários na publicação de Zetti, o goleiro Rafael escreveu uma mensagem para agradecer os elogios do ídolo são-paulino.
“Zettâo, você é ídolo! Obrigado por todo apoio e suporte de sempre”, escreveu o arqueiro titular do Tricolor paulista.

Desde que Rogério Ceni se aposentou como arqueiro, o São Paulo sofreu para encontrar um novo titular. Muitos atletas passaram pelo clube sem nenhum conseguir se concretizar como o substituto ideal até a chegada de Rafael.
“Não é fácil eu vestir essa camisa do São Paulo. Não sou o Rogério, não sou o Zetti, mas sou o Rafael e quero que eles saibam que, enquanto eu estiver aqui, vou fazer o melhor para levar alegria para eles”, afirmou Rafael, em entrevista à ESPN.
