O Flamengo divulgou, nesta segunda-feira, o Relatório Anual com as Demonstrações Financeiras auditadas referentes ao exercício 2024.
Nelas, o clube constatou um aumento da dívida em R$279 milhões no ano passado, motivado sobretudo pelo alto investimento em jogadores e a compra do terreno do Gasômetro, por R$ 146 milhões. Com isso, o caixa do clube fechou 2024 com apenas R$ 70 milhões.
No ano de 2024, o Flamengo realizou investimentos expressivos no elenco, chegando a R$415 milhões, o maior valor da série histórica, o que, apesar de elevar o ativo, contribuiu para a geração de caixa negativa e o déficit no exercício. No ano passado, o clube teve a receber apenas R$ 149 milhões por transferências de jogadores. Menos da metade do ano anterior.
De acordo com o material divulgado pelo Flamengo, a dívida operacional líquida era de R$ 217 milhões em 2022 e caiu para R$ 48 milhões ao fim de 2023. Contudo, com o investimento em atletas e a compra do terreno do Gasômetro para a construção do estádio, o valor passou para R$ 327 milhões.
“Um fator determinante para este cenário foi o menor volume de transferências de atletas em comparação com anos anteriores, o que também contribuiu para a redução da receita bruta total. O menor nível de receitas com venda de atletas, conjugado a um investimento significativo na compra de novos atletas e à compra de terreno no Gasômetro impactaram a dívida operacional líquida, que apresentou um crescimento de R$279 milhões”, diz o relatório.
Entretanto, o Flamengo atingiu uma receita operacional bruta total de R$1.334 bilhão em 2024. O que se deveu à conquista da Copa do Brasil e do crescimento de receitas comerciais, que compensaram a queda nas receitas de matchday. No entanto, houve queda na receita com a venda de atletas, o que se refletiu na redução da receita bruta total em relação ao ano anterior, de R$ 1,440 bilhão .
