O Craque Neto está mesmo convicto de que a CBF deveria dar uma cartada para trazer Abel Ferreira ao comando da seleção brasileira. No “Os Donos da Bola” de hoje (01), o apresentador da Band disse que não traria Jorge Jesus, e disse ver mais pontos positivos a favor do técnico do Palmeiras.
Embora já tenha alfinetado o português diversas vezes, questionando principalmente o estilo ‘marrento’ e a conduta para com a imprensa, o ex-jogador não vê nenhum outro profissional tão preparado para a função do que o técnico multicampeão no futebol brasileiro.
“Pra mim deveria ser o Abel Ferreira. Quando que o Jorge Jesus foi treinador de uma seleção e disputou Copa do Mundo? Nunca. Vamos deixar bem claro isso. Eu prefiro o Abel. Mais jovem, está no futebol brasileiro, é um dos melhores treinadores dos últimos 25 anos neste país”, avaliou o Craque Neto.

Em boa parte do programa desta terça-feira, o Craque Neto debateu a situação envolvendo Neymar, que não entra em campo há um mês, e ainda não tem uma previsão concreta de retorno. Na avaliação do apresentador da Band, o atacante é uma incógnita, e por isso não deveria ser apontado como ‘salvação’ para a seleção brasileira.
Nos comentários, ele disse não ver o craque totalmente focado no processo de recuperação no Santos, e mais ligado em eventos fora do universo do futebol profissional, alfinetando o jogador pelo envolvimento com a “Fúria Football”.

Ainda sem a definição em torno de um novo comandante, a seleção brasileira tem convocação prevista para acontecer no próximo mês, visando os compromissos contra Equador e Paraguai, programados para os dias 5 de 10 de junho, pelas Eliminatórias.
Até o momento, somente a Argentina tem o passaporte carimbado para a Copa do Mundo de 2026. Apesar do cenário de oscilação, o escrete canarinho não vê a vaga sob grande ameaça, dada a diferença de cinco tentos em relação à Venezuela, sétima colocada.
