O jornalista Felippe Facincani, que não esconde a sua paixão pelo Palmeiras, esteve no podcast Boppismo, onde comentou sobre o momento atual do Verdão, que perdeu recentemente o título do Campeonato Paulista para o Corinthians.
Então, o Facincani relembrou que o Alviverde tem histórico de “ressuscitar” o rival, ou seja, perder para eles em momento de crise.
E a primeira lembrança do comunicador foi em 2011, quando o dérbi aconteceu no jogo seguinte da eliminação do Timão na pré-Libertadores para o Tolima, algo que gerou uma crise no clube.
“O Palmeiras tem virado uma ONG do Corinthians quando o Corinthians está em baixa. A primeira vez que isso acontece de forma mais simbólica foi em 2011, no episódio do Tolima. O torcedor do Palmeiras viu o Corinthians ser eliminado na Pré-Libertadores, uma vergonha, primeira vez que um time brasileiro era eliminado nessa fase, Ronaldo aposentando, torcida brava… tudo de ponta cabeça. E o palmeirense queria ganhar deles em seguida para deixar eles mais um tempo sofrendo”, iniciou.
Facincani fala em semente do Mundial
Na sequência, o comentarista entende que essa vitória corintiana teve influencia no título da Libertadores e do Mundial de 2012. Ele relembra que o Alvinegro venceu, se recuperou e foi campeão do Brasileirão daquele ano. No ano seguinte, venceu os torneios internacional com o mesmo técnico e a base do ano anterior.
“O Palmeiras estava com a faca e o queijo na mão, podendo acabar com o ano deles, e o Palmeiras perde de 1 a 0. Ali, foi a primeira semente plantada do Mundial do Corinthians. Ganharam o clássico e dali para frente, o Corinthians enche o peito e vai para ser campeão Brasileiro. No ano seguinte ganha a Libertadores e o Mundial”, disse.
“Se o Palmeiras ganha do Corinthians, provavelmente o Tite seria demitido, mas não foi. E o Corinthians ainda saiu grande”, finalizou o jornalista.

Após perder o título do Paulistão e estrear com um empate no Campeonato Brasileiro, o Verdão vira a chave e se prepara para estrear na Libertadores. Na quinta (03), às 19h, o time comandado por Abel Ferreira encara o Sporting Cristal, do Peru, pela primeira rodada da fase de grupos da competição continental.
