O Manchester United visita o Nottingham Forest nesta terça (1), a partir das 16h (horário de Brasília), no estádio City Ground. O duelo é válido por mais uma rodada de Premier League (Campeonato Inglês). De acordo com informações oficiais, os Red Devil’s estão reforçados.
Em entrevista coletiva, o técnico Ruben Amorim conformou que o zagueiro Maguire “está pronto para ir ao jogo”. Leny Yoro é outra novidade. A dupla era considerada dúvida.
Por outro lado, Luke Shaw está fora. O português também confirmou as ausências de Lisandro Martínez, Ayden Heaven, Mainoo e Jonny Evans.
Nesse sentido, a provável escalação é formada pelos seguintes jogadores: Onana; De Ligt, Lindelöf e Mazraoui; Dalot, Bruno Fernandes, Ugarte, Eriksen e Dorgu; Garnacho e Højlund.
Rival mira vaga na próxima Champions League
O Nottingham Forest é o atual terceiro colocado da Premier League. Tem 54 pontos, cinco a mais que o quarto colocado, Chelsea.
A equipe treinada por Nuno Espírito Santo está à frente de outros rivais pesados como o atual tetracampeão da Premier League, Manchester City, e o último vencedor da Copa da Liga Inglesa, Newcastle.
“Não estou surpreso porque conheço o trabalho que ele (Espírito Santo) fez em Portugal e Espanha. Ele se saiu muito bem no Wolverhampton. Foi para o Tottenham e começou bem, mas as coisas não aconteceram”, analisou o técnico do Manchester United.
“Não estou surpreso. Ele é um técnico de ponta. Você sente isso no ambiente que eles têm. Quando você vê o time dele jogar, pode ver a energia. Eles estão felizes. Têm mobilidade”, prosseguiu Amorim.
Manchester United precisa da vitória
O clube é apenas o 13° colocado da Premier League. Tem 37 pontos. “Não sei em que lugar vamos terminar, mas estamos olhando para cima e queremos ganhar jogos. Ainda temos jogos para terminar em uma posição diferente”, finalizou Amorim.
