Muller, ao analisar Bahia x Corinthians, exaltou o ponto conquistado pelo Timão. Apesar da vantagem numérica, algo que poderia motivar o triunfo fora de casa, o ex-jogador quis ressaltar o status do Tricolor de Aço. Consistente sob o comando de Rogério Ceni, o time campeão estadual em 2025 é visto como uma das forças emergentes capazes de surpreender ao longo da temporada.
“É o dilema do calendário. O Corinthians não teve tempo para treinar e nem para preparar o time. Conseguiu um resultado excelente diante do Bahia que vem forte neste ano.”, disse Muller, no programa Gazeta Esportiva.
“Para os jogadores, quanto mais jogarem, é melhor.”, acrescentou.
Rogério Ceni fica satisfeito ao abordar postura do Bahia
Após a expulsão de Everton Ribeiro, o Bahia teve que aumentar o nível de disposição. Embora o Corinthians tenha empatado o confronto, Rogério Ceni enalteceu o empenho dos jogadores na primeira rodada do Brasileirão.
“O Corinthians tem qualidade para construir jogo, mas acho que nos fechamos bem. Quase não cedemos oportunidades de gol. É de se destacar a postura e doação de todos dentro de campo. Mesmo com dez tivemos oportunidades e chances de matar o jogo.”, avaliou.
Assim como Muller, Alex Muller ressaltou que, em casa, o Bahia é um mandante difícil para todos os clubes do Brasileirão. Levando em conta o ponto fora de casa utilizando uma escalação mista, o trabalho de Ramón Díaz à frente do Corinthians foi elogiado.
“Foi com um time completamente reserva contra o Bahia, que tem arrebentado os adversários na Fonte Nova. O Bahia está muito bem neste ano nas mãos do Rogério Ceni. Foi sensacional (o empate). Empatou o jogo e poderia ter feito o segundo gol. O Corinthians vive um grande momento.”, externou Alex Muller.
