O jornalista Renato Maurício Prado opinou de forma contundente em relação a um possível desejo do Fluminense de contratar o técnico Jorge Sampaoli. O argentino chegaria ao clube para substituir Mano Menezes, mas especulação em cima do nome do ex-técnico de Flamengo, Santos e Atlético-MG desagradou totalmente RMP.
RMP ligou o ‘modo sincerão’ sobre a possibilidade de o Tricolor das Laranjeiras trazer Sampaoli ao Brasileirão Série A. Na visão do comentarista, a volta do argentino ao Brasil seria uma decisão errônea por parte de Mário Bittencourt, presidente do Flu.
Dessa forma, o colunista esportivo não mediu palavras para tecer críticas ao trabalho do cartola na busca por um novo técnico para o Fluminense.
“Imagine, um dos treinadores que está sendo discutido nas Laranjeiras é o Sampaoli, minha gente. Esses caras não aprendem, sério”, iniciou RMP sobre a iminente vinda do treinador ao futebol brasileiro.
“Mário Bittencourt não prestou atenção na passagem de Sampaoli pelo Flamengo!? Não viu como ele transforma em caos todos os clubes que ele passa? Aconteceu no Santos, aconteceu no Atlético e aconteceu no Flamengo”, sentenciou.

O colunista comparou os desempenhos do técnico argentino no Santos, Flamengo e Atlético-MG para justificar a sua resistência à volta do argentino ao Brasil.
“No Flamengo da pior maneira possível: não ganhou nada. No Santos ainda fez um Brasileiro muito bom, foi vice-campeão. 16 pontos atrás do primeiro colocado, é verdade; mas vice-campeão. Já no Atlético-MG ganhou só um ‘Mineirinho’, mas acho que acabou em terceiro ou quarto no Brasileiro”, enfatizou Renato Maurício Prado.
“Mas em todos eles deixou um caos no departamento de futebol”, prosseguiu em sua análise.
Além disso, o jornalista relembrou o episódio em que um membro da comissão técnica do argentino acabou golpeando o atacante Pedro, com um soco, durante a passagem do técnico no Mengão. RMP pontuou que tal ato representou um “cúmulo” em relação aos trabalhos do técnico em terras brasileiras.
“No Flamengo chegou ao cúmulo de um preparador físico dele dá um soco na cara do Pedro. Então como é que alguém, que conheça minimamente futebol, ainda pode cair no engodo do Sampaoli?”, concluiu Renato Maurício Prado.
Por fim, embora reconheça que é apenas uma especulação, a qual poderá não ir adiante, RMP afirmou que tal hipótese nem poderia ser considerada, levando em conta o histórico de Jorge Sampaoli.
