O futebol brasileiro tem clubes que não impõem a própria grandeza nas relações profissionais com os jogadores. É o que opina Souza. Na edição desta segunda-feira (31) do programa Os Donos da Bola, da TV Bandeirantes, o ex-jogador analisou que o Santos tem que cobrar mais profissionalismo, por parte de Neymar.
“Não deveria ser refém de um atleta igual o Neymar. O Santos é muito maior que ele, mas infelizmente os clubes se apequenaram e aí tornam o jogador maior que o clube”, iniciou o ídolo da torcida do São Paulo.
Souza também avaliou que Neymar não tem um bom comportamento extra-campo. “Ele precisa ser mais comprometido com a saúde”, opinou.
Neymar foi notícia, nas últimas semanas, por ter se machucado dias antes da semifinal de Campeonato Paulista entre Corinthians e Santos.
Com isso, ele foi cortado da lista de convocados da seleção brasileira para os jogos contra Argentina e Colômbia. Apesar disso, ele tem aparecido em eventos comerciais.
“Não sou eu que vou mudar o comportamento dele. Ele que tem que fazer uma autocrítica. Se o clube permite que ele faça isso, quem somos nós para dizer que está errado?”, concluiu Souza.
Craque Neto discorda de Souza
O apresentador divergiu do colega de trabalho. “Eu sou sim, Souza. Eu sou porque eu comento futebol. Desculpa”, iniciou.
“Ele é jogador do Santos, joga o Campeonato Paulista, falou que ia jogar. E aí um jogador que está machucado com tudo isso? Foi cortado da seleção, não jogou a final”, concluiu Craque Neto.
O ex-árbitro Oscar Roberto Godói avaliou que Neymar corre risco de não ser mais ídolo no Brasil.
“O sentimento de idolatria do brasileiro por ele estava grande com ele à distância. Com ele aqui perto, sabendo de tudo o que está acontecendo e da falta de comprometimento, mesmo com os compromissos comerciais já assumidos e a permissão do clube, a idolatria vai acabar”, finalizou.
