Zico foi entrevistado por Nilson Cesar no programa A Resenha, no canal do narrador da Jovem Pan. Uma das pautas da atração realizada ontem (31) foi a sucessão de Dorival Júnior na seleção brasileira.
O ídolo do Flamengo inicialmente se esquivou ao eleger um nome favorito para assumir o escrete canarinho na próxima Data Fifa.
Entretanto, aposta no êxito de Filipe Luís como técnico, acreditando que o atual treinador do Flamengo irá dirigir o Brasil no futuro.
“Ele tá no caminho de seleção brasileira mesmo”, projetou o eterno camisa 10 da Gávea, que não disfarçou seu encantamento pelo trabalho do ex-lateral-esquerdo e treinador novato.
“Não é pelo Filipe Luís ter conquistado a Copa do Brasil, a Supercopa e o Carioca. É pela forma como o time vem jogando, se apresentando. Mostrando um futebol de vencedor, de querer ganhar os jogos, arriscando. Não se contentando com, às vezes, uma vitória menor durante o jogo, ele quer sempre fazer mais. Um time com fome de conquistas. Então, o Filipe passa isso pro time, que tá correspondendo”, declarou Zico.
Zico reprovou saídas de Gabigol e Fabrício Bruno do Flamengo
O ídolo rubro-negro acrescentou que o Rubro-Negro já tem um elenco montado desde a metade do ano passado. “As contratações estão sendo mais pontuais”, observou.
Porém, Zico se mostrou contrariado com as saídas de dois jogadores para o Cruzeiro: Gabigol e Fabrício Bruno. “O plantel ficaria muito mais forte se ainda tivesse esses dois”, opinou.
Ao mesmo tempo, falou da contratação do centroavante Juninho e da torcida para que Pedro retorne em alto nível.
“Trouxe o Juninho que começa a se adaptar ao futebol. Vamos ver como é que o Pedro vai se encaixar na volta, porque é outra lesão séria que teve”, pontuou o ídolo.
O fator que pode atrapalhar o Flamengo em 2025
Por fim, complementou que o envolvimento do Flamengo em outras competições como o Mundial de Clubes pode atrapalhar o desempenho rubro-negro no Brasileirão Série A.
“Quanto mais jogos você tem, mais riscos você corre. Se você vai pelo plantel, todos os times com o mesmo plantel sem nenhum problema, eu acho que dificilmente o Flamengo perderia. Mas sem dúvida é um dos candidatos pelo que conseguiu reunir”, pontuou, acrescentando Alan Patrick, do Internacional, como o único camisa 10 de qualidade que atua no Brasil.
