A Seleção Brasileira Feminina se prepara para o primeiro amistoso de 2025. A equipe brasileira joga contra os Estados Unidos, neste sábado (5), em solo americano. Com um elenco em reformulação, o time comandado por Artur Elias, encara o confronto, em partes, como um teste para avaliar o nível da equipe.
A delegação brasileira iniciou os treinos nesta terça-feira (1), o foco inicial foi para trabalhar situações isoladas, tanto no ataque quanto na defesa, após as atividades, o técnico avaliou o desempenho da equipe. “Conseguimos trabalhar situações isoladas, como era proposto, situações que podem nos oferecer chances de gol, o grupo ainda teve que ter um controle de carga, especialmente com algumas atletas. Então, a gente optou por fazer essas situações separadas, ataque e defesa, e depois juntar”, declarou o treinador, em entrevista à CBF.

Os Estados Unidos é considerado atualmente a maior potência do futebol feminino mundial. Para Arthur Elias, enfrentar a Seleção Norte-Americana é essencial para identificar os pontos fortes e as áreas que ainda precisam de ajustes. “É uma equipe que vai nos testar muito”, destacou o técnico da Seleção.
Conquistas e rivalidade entre Brasil e Estados Unidos
Com uma estrutura bem organizada e uma liga nacional forte, a Seleção Norte-Americana tem mantido sua hegemonia na categoria. O time coleciona conquistas como SheBelieves Cup, Copa Ouro da Concacaf, quatro medalhas de ouro olímpicas e quatro Copa do Mundo.
Sendo uma das seleções mais tradicionais da modalidade, o Brasil escreveu uma história marcante ao longo dos 37 anos. A equipe já conquistou duas Copa América, além de ser vice-campeã mundial em 2007 e medalhista de prata nos Jogos Olímpicos de 2004, 2008 e 2024.
O Brasil e os Estados Unidos protagonizaram diversos confrontos marcantes no futebol feminino. Um dos mais lembrados aconteceu nas semifinais das Olimpíadas Paris 2024, quando a seleção perdeu de 0 a 1 para as Americanas e conquistou a medalha de prata.
Em busca da vitória
Os Estados Unidos chega para o amistoso habituado ao ritmo de jogo, recentemente a equipe disputou a final da SheBelieves Cup, onde terminaram como vice-campeãs, perdendo a taça por 2 a 1 para o Japão. Artur Elias encara esta situação como uma oportunidade para as brasileiras,e busca alcançar o mesmo sucesso da seleção japonesa.
Elias destacou que o Brasil está focado em neutralizar os pontos fortes das adversárias. “A minha função é que a gente consiga ser uma equipe que marque muito bem, que anule os principais pontos que os Estados Unidos têm a seu favor, a qualidade do meio campo, a velocidade das atacantes, a eficiência delas, as bolas paradas. Então, é uma equipe que realmente vai nos testar muito defensivamente, mas também que a gente consiga criar mais oportunidades de gol e que obviamente a gente consiga ter eficiência para sair com resultado positivo”
