Große Probleme intern – Welche Ansagen die BVB-Profis frustrierten

Der BVB macht munter weiter und bleibt das größte Rätsel dieser Bundesliga-­Saison. Der 3:1-Sieg gegen Mainz war mal wieder ein Lebenszeichen, doch die Schwankungen bleiben.

Das Ziel der Bosse ist klar: Einen Super-Endspurt hinzulegen und es noch irgendwie nach Europa zu schaffen. Es wäre ein kleines Happy End – nach turbulenten Monaten. SPORT BILD kennt interne Vorgänge.

[–>Sämtlichen Neuzugängen, die im Sommer kamen, wurde von den Verantwortlichen aufgezeigt, dass sie wichtige Rollen einnehmen sollen. Vor allem Anton und Pascal Groß (33) wurde zugesagt, dass sie Stützen des Teams werden sollen. Doch bei Groß kam schon im Herbst Frust auf. So entstand für den Nationalspieler nach einer Erklärung von Sahin der Eindruck, dass er nach dem Champions-League-Spiel in Madrid (2:5) bei der Partie in Augsburg sicher spielen werde. An dem Samstag im Oktober musste Groß jedoch wieder zunächst auf der Bank Platz nehmen – was zu Unverständnis geführt haben soll.

In den Wochen danach stand Groß deutlich häufiger in der Startelf – oftmals allerdings als Rechtsverteidiger, was alles andere als seine Stammposition ist. In der Mannschaft wurde das schnell zum Thema.

[–>Schon in der Rückrunde vor einem Jahr, als Sahin als Co-Trainer von Edin Terzic (42) fungierte, gab es erste Risse zwischen ihm und Spielern. Ein Beispiel: Nach einem Mannschaftstraining entschieden sich Youssoufa Moukoko (20/derzeit Nizza-Leihe) und Salih Özcan (27) dazu, auf dem Platz noch individuell Torschüsse zu trainieren. Sahin soll dazugekommen sein und aus Spaß gesagt haben, dass das Extra-Training bei den beiden doch ohnehin kaum einen Sinn machen würde. Die beiden Reservisten reagierten gereizt, und Özcan ließ Sahin wissen, dass er einen solchen Spruch unnötig finde. Daraufhin ergab ein Wort das andere. Das Verhältnis zwischen den beiden war seitdem angespannt.

Im vergangenen Sommer – als klar war, dass Sahin Cheftrainer wird – wurde Özcan zum VfL Wolfsburg verliehen. Im Winter kehrte er vorzeitig zurück. Sechs Tage nach dem Sahin-Rauswurf.

Nun soll Cheftrainer Niko Kovac (53) für ein versöhnliches Saison-Ende sorgen.
