Ante el inminente anuncio de Donald Trump sobre los aranceles que impondrá al resto del mundo, en Cuatro han querido conocer la opinión del economista de la Universidad Ramón Llull de Barcelona. “El anuncio se va a hacer con las bolsas europeas cerradas, pero las americanas y las asiáticas abiertas”, ha advertido por las posibles consecuencias nocturnas.

Niño Becerra no duda a la hora de analizar qué continente va a ser el más afectado por los aranceles de Trump: “En principio, a quien más va a afectar es a Europa. Si se sigue en la línea que se ha anunciado, esto puede significar dar la vuelta al calcetín de lo que se ha estado haciendo desde el final de la segunda guerra mundial”.
Desde un punto de vista más individualizado, nuestro país no parece que vaya a ser de los más perjudicados del Viejo Continente, aunque el economista apunta dos sectores que deben estar alerta: “España exporta poco a EEUU, pero para sectores como el vino o el aceite de oliva si puede ser un golpe muy duro”.
Por último, ha explicado cuáles son los motivos que tiene Donald Trump para acometer esta medida tan polémica a nivel mundial: “Creo que Estados Unidos pretende que el resto del mundo le pague su déficit. Esto está bien si tienes herramientas para conseguirlo, habrá que ver si cuenta con estas herramientas. Es un hecho que los precios en Estados Unidos van a aumentar”.
