Paulo Silas não considera somente Flamengo e Palmeiras como favoritos no Brasileirão. Na avaliação do ex-jogador, há um novo concorrente dos cariocas e paulistas pelo título desta temporada: Internacional.
Mais do que o empate em 1 a 1 com o Rubro-Negro, no Maracanã, o comentarista aprovou a postura adotada pelo time comandado por Roger Machado e enxerga elenco suficiente para o Colorado sonhar com a taça.
“Eu acho que é um candidato ao título. Pela forma como terminaram o ano passado, o que mostraram no estadual e pelo elenco que têm. Não somente os onze, mas o plantel. Pode estar um pouco atrás do Flamengo, mas mesmo assim o time é muito bom. Do meio para frente você tem muita gente”, disse Silas.
Campeão gaúcho, o Internacional parece cada vez mais sólido e capaz de brigar por maiores desafios ao longo de 2025. Além dos seus titulares, o Colorado tem um plantel que permite uma rotação que nem todos conseguem.

Mais contundente, Felipe Melo colocou o Internacional no mesmo patamar do Flamengo. No “Fechamento Sportv”, o ex-volante não teve dúvidas em dizer que a equipe gaúcha tem condições de brigar de igual para igual com os demais concorrentes.
“Foi campeão gaúcho e, ao meu modo de pensar, tem material humano, técnico e tático capaz de brigar pelo Brasileirão”, avaliou Felipe Melo.

Bahia x Internacional se enfrentam na próxima quinta (3), às 19h (de Brasília), na Arena Fonte Nova, em Salvador, pela primeira rodada da fase de grupos da Libertadores.
