Sormani bancou mais uma demissão de treinador na próxima rodada do Campeonato Brasileiro 2025. De acordo com informações do jornalista, o técnico Pedro Caixinha está com os dias contados no Santos.
No programa “Opinião Placar”, Sormani informou que o Santos irá demitir Pedro Caixinha caso o time não vença o Bahia, no domingo, pela segunda rodada do Campeonato Brasileiro. A partida será na Vila Belmiro.
“O que me passaram é o seguinte: se não vencer o Bahia no domingo, na Vila Belmiro, é rua”, cravou Sormani.
Na estreia, o Peixe foi derrotado pelo Vasco, em São Januário. A equipe abriu o placar, mas levou a virada no segundo tempo.
Qual próximo técnico do Santos?
A possível demissão de Caixinha abre a discussão sobre seu substituto. O nome de Dorival Júnior é visto como o ideal pelos torcedores do Santos. Entretanto, outros profissionais como Sampaoli foram cogitados por Sormani.
“O torcedor quer o Dorival, mas eu não contrataria nesse momento. Uma ala no Santos quer o Sampaoli. Mas o Sampaoli conseguiu arrumar uma treta com o Messi numa Copa do Mundo. Ele não vai arrumar um atrito com o Neymar?”, disse.
Tite é uma opção?
Outros nomes foram cogitados por Sormani, que acredita que o cargo de técnico do Santos caso Caixinha seja demitido ficará com Tite. O treinador tem bom relacionamento com Neymar por conta da seleção brasileira e está livre no mercado desde a saída do Flamengo, no ano passado.
“Aí você tem o Renato Gaúcho. Mas eu acho que vai acabar sobrando para o Tite. O Santos tem um problema defensivo grave e o Tite é especialista nisso. Ele resolveria esse problema. São muitos gols de bola aérea”, disse Sormani.

Prezident FIA Muhamad Sulajím naznačil možnou změnu pravidel, konkrétně přílohy B Mezinárodního sportovního řádu.
