Casagrande não deixou de questionar a defesa do Corinthians, ao repercutir na coluna do UOL Esporte desta quarta (02), o revés da equipe alvinegra frente ao Huracán, pela Copa Sul-Americana. Na visão do comentarista, uma das grandes tônicas da equipe é justamente a composição de marcação.
Contra a equipe hermana, o Timão foi vazado logo aos seis minutos, e apesar de buscar a reação de imediato com Ranielle, o alvinegro sofreu o segundo tento convertido por Sequeira na partida, atacante que amargava um longo jejum sem marcar.
“O grande problema desse time do Corinthians é a defesa, que falha muito, principalmente quando tem pela frente uma equipe que agride”, iniciou Casagrande.
“Os times argentinos, assim como sua forte seleção, agridem o adversário desde o início do jogo e buscam sempre pegar o adversário sem foco e desconcentrado para tentar marcar um gol logo de cara”, complementou o ex-jogador.
Casagrande lamenta ausências no Timão
Em outro momento da coluna, Casagrande chamou atenção para a limitação do elenco alvinegro. Na opinião dele, a equipe cai muito de produção quando tem baixas importantes, o que denota a necessidade de peças de reposição em algumas posições.
Contra o Huracán, o técnico Ramón Díaz não pôde escalar Hugo Souza, que se recupera de um problema muscular e só deve retornar no próximo mês, e Rodrigo Garro, que vem enfrentando quadro de dores no joelho. Destacado diversas vezes por Casão, o camisa 8 é visto pelo ex-jogador como peça ‘cerebral’ do time.

Diante do resultado negativo frente ao Huracán, o Corinthians viu cair por terra uma invencibilidade que já perdurava desde agosto do ano passado, quando foi derrotado pelo Red Bull Bragantino, em choque pelo Sul-Americana. Desde então, foram 23 partidas sem perder na Neo Química Arena.
O alvinegro volta a campo no próximo sábado (05), quando encara o Vasco, novamente em Itaquera, pela 2ª rodada do Brasileirão, buscando a primeira vitória na competição, após debutar com empate fora de casa, frente ao Bahia.
