Cicinho está temeroso com o futuro do Santos no Brasileirão. Depois de estrear com derrota para o Vasco por 2 a 1, no Rio de Janeiro, o Peixe deixou torcedores irritados e pedindo até mesmo a demissão do técnico Pedro Caixinha.
Sem papas na língua, o ex-jogador do São Paulo acredita que o Alvinegro Praiano precisa ficar atento à zona de rebaixamento caso não apresente um melhor futebol.
“O Santos corre risco de cair, até porque a gente não vê essa expectativa na questão do Neymar. Ele viveu um momento legal no Paulista, não foi pelo futebol, mas pela chegada do Neymar. Tirou o peso dos outros jogadores. Guilherme jogou com leveza, a pressão estava toda sobre o camisa 10”, disse Cicinho, na Rádio BandNews FM.

De fato, Caixinha está bastante pressionado no comando do Santos. No domingo, o próprio presidente Marcelo Teixeira fez cobranças públicas pelo desempenho do time após um longo período de treinos, cometendo os mesmos erros.

No programa “Opinião Placar”, Sormani, inclusive, informou que o Santos irá demitir Pedro Caixinha caso o time não vença o Bahia, no domingo, pela segunda rodada do Campeonato Brasileiro.
“O que me passaram é o seguinte: se não vencer o Bahia no domingo, na Vila Belmiro, é rua”, cravou Sormani.
