Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick insisted he was happy with his side’s draw at home to Real Betis.
The result extended Barca’s lead at the top of La Liga to four points, after Real Madrid were defeated at home by Valencia earlier on Saturday.
Gavi, a former Betis youth player, opened the scoring against his former club in the seventh minute but Manuel Pellegrini’s side, who had won each of their previous six La Liga matches, earned a point thanks to Natan’s header from a corner 10 minutes later.

“I’m happy with this one point because we have one game less and one point more,” Flick told La Liga TV after the match.
“There are days you create chances but the opponent withstands them and sits deep, and this was a game like that.”
This was Barca’s fourth match in the space of 10 days, having defeated Osasuna and Girona in La Liga and progressed past Atletico Madrid in the Copa del Rey semi-finals, and while Flick insisted that it was “tough” he did not complain about the scheduling.
“The team are doing good and we made the changes we wanted to make,” he said. “The team in the second half tried everything.”
Barcelona are back in action on Wednesday at home to Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League quarter-final stage before returning to La Liga action three days later away to Leganes.
