SPORT BILD hatte es bereits geschrieben, jetzt ist es offiziell: Thomas Müller beim FC Bayern München – ab kommendem Sommer geht eine legendäre Spielerkarriere zu Ende.
In den vergangenen Gesprächen mit den Bossen um Sportvorstand Max Eberl (51) hatte sich bereits herauskristallisiert: Es wird keinen neuen Vertrag für Müller geben. Am Mittwoch hatten sich die Spieler-Seite und die Verantwortlichen getroffen – ohne Ergebnis.
Vorstands-Chef Jan-Christian Dreesen (57) traf sich am Donnerstag erneut mit Müller – zu einem Geheim-Gespräch! Dreesen schaltete sich persönlich ein, um Ruhe in die Angelegenheit zu bringen und Müller (kam 2000 in die D-Jugend) klarzumachen: Du bist uns wichtig!
Der war zunächst irritiert, dass ihm kein neuer Vertrag vorgelegt wurde. Dann verstimmt, dass eben dies öffentlich wurde.

Nach BILD-Informationen markierte das Meeting von Dreesen und Müller nun den Durchbruch. Beide gehen demnach im Guten auseinander, es soll sogar eine Umarmung gegeben haben.
Entsprechend war die Stimmung gelöst, was auch das Foto zeigt, das der Klub veröffentlichte: Müller im Sakko, strahlend neben Dreesen, Eberl und Sportdirektor Christoph Freund (47).

Thomas Müller: Das plant Bayern mit ihm
Die Bayern-Legende bekommt einen Mini-Vertrag für die Klub-WM (ab 14. Juni in den USA) und Extra-Gehalt. Da sein ursprünglicher Vertrag nur bis 30. Juni geht (ein Viertelfinale dürfte Müller nicht mehr spielen), das Finale aber am 13. Juli stattfindet, gibt es noch einmal einen Kurzzeit-Vertrag.

Am Donnerstag versicherte Dreesen Urgestein Müller noch mal, dass für ihn immer alle Türen und Tore offen stehen, wenn er in einer Funktion zum FC Bayern zurückkehren möchte. Langfristiges Ziel: Er soll ein Bayern-Boss werden!
