Em eleição sobre os maiores jogadores da história do futebol, a revista inglesa “Four Four Two” colocou 17 brasileiros no top-100. Com Pelé em segundo e Ronaldo Fenômeno em sexto, a lista conta com outras posições polêmicas.
Garrincha é o terceiro atleta do Brasil com melhor colocação, em 17º. Zico, por sua vez, está em 19º e ficou acima de Ronaldinho Gaúcho (22) e Romário (39).
Na eleição de 2022, o ídolo do Flamengo tinha conquistado a 14ª posição do ranking, mas caiu na atualização dos 100 maiores jogadores da história.
Zico é exaltado por revista
“Ele é o maior brasileiro a nunca ganhar uma Copa do Mundo. Pelé disse uma vez: “O jogador que chegou mais perto de mim em estilo de jogo foi Zico.” Ele marcou 333 gols somente no famoso estádio do Maracanã e guiou o Flamengo a quatro títulos da liga, uma Copa Libertadores e outro Mundial de Clubes nos anos 80″, assim o ex-camisa 10 foi descrito.
Ronaldinho também foi enaltecido: “Seu sorriso dentuço fez dele um dos rostos mais reconhecíveis do futebol. Ronaldinho era um caso raro de um homem que conseguia fazer o imprevisível parecer comum em campo. Se a grandeza fosse medida em alegria, Ronaldinho deixaria os outros para trás por alguma distância”, descreveu a publicação.
Por fim, Romário ganhou aplausos pela capacidade dentro da área: “O rei do toque de dedo, o brasileiro tinha um controle de perto deslumbrante e habilidades de finalização sem nervos – quando ele estava no gol, o goleiro estava basicamente condenado”, disse a revista.

Mais uma vez o veículo inglês deu a coroação de melhor da história para o argentino. Pelé, que ficou apenas em quarto na outra edição, agora foi o segundo.
O top-5 é composto também por Maradona, Cristiano Ronaldo e o holandês Johan Cruyff. Ronaldo Fenômeno, duas vezes campeão da Copa do Mundo, “bateu na trave” e quase apareceu entre os cinco primeiros.

O Superior Tribunal de Justiça (STJ) negou seguimento ao recurso extraordinário apresentado pela Fifa, no caso envolvendo a acusação de violação de patente e quebra de boa-fé objetiva nas tratativas com a empresa brasileira Spuni Comércio de Produtos Esportivos e Marketing Ltda. O recurso tentava levar a discussão ao Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF), sob a alegação de ofensa a preceitos constitucionais, o que foi rejeitado.
