Denílson está empolgado com o momento protagonizado pelo Pedro Raul com a camisa do Ceará neste início de temporada. Depois de uma trajetória apagada e repleta de críticas no Corinthians, o atleta deu a volta por cima, se tornando uma das referências do Vozão.
Ao analisar o triunfo do Ceará sobre o Grêmio, neste sábado (05), em choque pelo Brasileirão, o comentarista não poupou elogios ao jogador de 28 anos, pontuando o quanto o futebol é dinâmico, e um reforço pode se encaixar com maior facilidade em determinado elenco.
“Olha aí o Pedro Raul. No Coringão, ele deu uma passeada, mas lá (no Ceará) está guardando direto. Fase boa. Futebol é difícil. Tem jogador que se identifica com time e não se identifica com outro”, avaliou Denílson.
Contratado junto ao Toluca, do México, por altas cifras, Pedro Raul vinha amargando reserva no Corinthians. Diante da falta de espaço do jogador na equipe de Ramón Díaz, as partes chegaram a um acordo de empréstimo do atacante ao Ceará, vigente até o término desta temporada.

Em apenas oito jogos com a camisa do Ceará, Pedro Raul computa quase o dobro de tentos anotados no comparativo com o desempenho no Corinthians, onde jogou 38 vezes.
Avassalador neste início de temporada, o atacante soma sete gols e uma assistência no Vozão, enquanto no clube anterior só marcou três vezes e deu passe que resultou em um tento.
