Jódar, que no había ganado un solo partido en los torneos de esa categoría, ha sumado tres valiosas victorias que le han valido para escalar 223 puestos. Pasa del 911 al 688 con 22 puntos más a su casillero.
Rafa, de 19 años, cedió en las semifinales del sábado con el suizo Marc-Andrea Huesler (168 del mundo), por 4-6, 7-5 y 6-2. Ahora tendrá que decidir cuál es su segunda aparición en un evento challenger antes de regresar a Europa el próximo verano para centrarse en el circuito ATP.
