Skoda está intratable en el Supercampeonato de España con el equipo bicéfalo que ha armado esta temporada. El Rally Sierra Morena, el primero del curso sobre asfalto, ha salido a pedir de boca para la marca bicampeona. La gran protagonista del cartel de la nueva cita europea del SuperCER, y a la postre también del podio de Córdoba, con ‘Cohete’ Suárez y Javier Pardo. Los grandes dominadores al alimón en este arranque de temporada.
La salida de carretera que ha eliminado al empezar la etapa de hoy a Alejandro Cachón, deslumbrante líder de la primera jornada frente a los pilotos más rutilantes del Europeo, ha dado alas a los Skoda del Recalvi Team para reeditar el doblete de Lorca, 15 días después. A pesar de un pinchazo lento esta mañana, ‘Cohete’ ha coronado una de sus actuaciones más brillantes a nivel internacional como tercer clasificado del ERC. Sólo el otro Fabia RS Rally2 del mundialista Nikolay Gryazin le ha superado en las serranías cordobesas.
El asturiano ha confirmado su excelente nivel de forma volviendo a imponerse entre los pilotos del SuperCER. Esta vez, sumando pleno de puntos, al ganar también el tramo bonificado. Lo que dispara en el liderato al jefe de filas de Skoda, escoltado además por su compañero Javier Pardo, antes de empezar el periplo norteño de la temporada dentro de dos meses, en Ourense.
Pepe López, de nuevo en el podio
Con la retirada de Cachón, el piloto puntero de Hyundai, único adversario directo por ahora de los Fabias, ha podido colarse en el podio y escoltar otra vez a los dos integrantes de la escuadra gallega. Cumplidas ya sus dos primeras actuaciones con el nuevo i20N Rally2 ‘Step2’, el madrileño empieza a vislumbrar el camino a seguir para intentar estar peleando los honores de nuevo.

Por su parte, Álvaro Muñiz ha defendido los honores de Citroën en uno de los rallies donde mejor desempeño acostumbra a ofrecer el C3 Rally2 (vencedor con el propio Pepe López y Diego Ruiloba en 2019 y 2024). El coruñés, cuarto clasificado finalmente, delante del nuevo piloto español del ERC, Roberto Blach, ha transmitido su oficio y veteranía al pupilo de la marca francesa, Unai de la Dehesa, sexto debutando sobre asfalto con el coche del doble galón.
Cañada y Bartés empiezan con buen pie
Javier Cañada y Giovanni Fariña han sido los rivales a batir en el arranque del Desafío Peugeot. Los canarios se han marcado un duelo titánico hasta la penúltima especial, que ha sido neutralizada cuando el subcampeón del 2024 tenía a tiro el liderato. El ex piloto del trofeo Renault ha redondeado así un estreno triunfal con su nuevo Peugeot 208 Rally4.

Arnau Bartés también ha empezado la temporada a lo grande, como vencedor de esta primera cita de la Copa Hyundai, en la que el subcampeón del año pasado ha confirmado las grandes opciones que posee de alzarse este curso con el campeonato.
José Manuel Lamela ha ganado la segunda prueba de la GR Yaris Cup Spain.
