El centrocampista español Sergio Canales, del Rayados de Monterrey mexicano, sufrió una herida el pasado después de una discusión con el entrenador Martín Demichelis. Según confirmó el equipo en un comunicado, Canales pateó una puerta tras un altercado con el técnico argentino y se hizo una herida que requirió 10 puntos de sutura.
Hoy, tras haber pasado casi una semana desde el episodio, el jugador español ha decidido dar la cara grabando un vídeo y publicándolo en redes sociales para dar por zanjado un tema que ha dado mucho que hablar en México los últimos días.
Martín Demichelis, entrenador de Rayados, compareció en rueda de prensa tras el triunfo ante Chivas y se refirió al incidente con Sergio Canales.
“He decidido grabar este vídeo para hablar de lo sucedido y solo quiero que sepáis que estoy muy tranquilo y que no me arrepiento de nada de lo que pasó porque creo que no he hecho nada malo. Lo único que no quiero es perjudicar a este equipo con el que me siento muy identificado”, comienza explicando el exbético.
“Producto de la frustración que sufrimos todos cuando no salen las cosas, tuvimos una charla grupal intensa pero creo que constructiva y que se ha magnificado debido al accidente que tuve. Lo estoy pasando mal pero ha habido mucha desinformación y yo he mantenido silencio por respeto. Conocéis mi compromiso y amor por este equipo, así que con el vídeo pongo punto y final a este tema”, zanjó el jugador español.

“Esto trasciende porque el mundo de la tecnología avanzó muchísimo. Porque el jugador, cuando termina el entrenamiento, le cuenta a dos personas, a su mujer o a su novia, dependiendo del estado civil y a su representante (…)Y de verdad, no pasó nada que no sea normal. Va a seguir pasando en todos los deportes donde haya líderes, donde haya jugadores que quieran ganar, que quieran crecer y que no estén contentos con una novena posición”, dijo el argentino.
