Milton Neves chamou atenção para as polêmicas em que a arbitragem se envolveu durante a 2ª rodada do Brasileirão Série A. Em sua coluna no UOL, o jornalista definiu os erros dos profissionais do apito e do VAR como uma das maiores gravidades do Campeonato Brasileiro.
“Brasileirão, recheado de craques, não pode ter arbitragem tão amadora”, intitulou seu texto opinativo.
Além dos equívocos cometidos pelos juízes, Miltão também voltou a mirar o alvo no sistema dos pontos corridos, vigente na principal competição de clubes da CBF desde 2003.
“Apesar do horroroso sistema de pontos corridos, o Brasileirão é uma beleza”, observou o comunicador, que inicialmente elogiou o nível técnico da Série A.
Assim, reforçou que a competição tem atraído craques do futebol mundial como Memphis Depay, do Corinthians.
“Se compararmos com as demais ligas aqui da América do Sul, o nosso Nacional é quase um Campeonato Espanhol ou Inglês”, pontuou Milton Neves.
Os três erros de arbitragem da 2ª rodada do Brasileirão
Porém, não economizou críticas para a arbitragem brasileira ao listar três erros cometidos na 2ª rodada neste domingo (6), segundo sua visão.
Para Milton Neves, o pênalti marcado a favor do Palmeiras que daria a vitória por 2 a 1 contra o Sport na Ilha do Retiro foi ‘escandaloso’. “O grande amigo do apito neste ano de 2025 é a Sociedade Esportiva Palmeiras“, alfinetou.
Além disso, opinou que o zagueiro Lyanco, do Atlético-MG, tinha que ser expulso no fim da etapa inicial contra o São Paulo, no empate sem gols no Mineirão.
Por fim, viu como injusto o cartão vermelho direto para o zagueiro Jonathan, do Cruzeiro, em falta cometida no começo da partida em Wesley, do Internacional. “Interferiu demais no resultado da partida”, frisou Miltão, sobre a vitória colorada por 3 a 0 no Beira-Rio.

Deste modo, o radialista defendeu a profissionalização da arbitragem no Brasil e também o VAR. “Necessário e maravilhoso”, definiu Milton Neves, complementando que falta uma melhor utilização da ferramenta pelos profissionais do apito.
“A decisão de seguir com uma arbitragem tão simplória como a nossa parece até algo proposital”, ironizou o colunista.
