O Flamengo tem tudo para ficar ainda mais forte em breve com o retorno do centroavante Pedro, recuperado de grave lesão no joelho e já de volta aos treinos com o restante do grupo rubro-negro. Segundo Flávio Prado, o camisa 9 será essencial ao clube na sequência da temporada.
Na avaliação do comentarista da Jovem Pan, por ter um elenco muito forte, o Rubro-Negro não deve antecipar o retorno e Pedro ainda não tem data definida para retornar os gramados.
“O fato do Flamengo ter um elenco legal – Juninho fez gol contra o Táchira e deu uma tranquilizada – , não acredito em pressão de ninguém para que ele volte rapidamente até porque se sabe que pode complicar, vide o que aconteceu com o Neymar”, avaliou Flávio Prado, durante o programa “Canelada”, lembrando que o camisa 10 do Santos não teve um retorno gradual aos gramados e acabou se lesionando novamente.
“O Pedro é um jogador que faz total diferença. Ele em campo pode definir a conquista de um título ou a perda de um título. Faz toda a diferença o Pedro”, exaltou o comentarista.
Em entrevista coletiva recente, o técnico Filipe Luís admitiu que Pedro está bem próximo do retorno aos gramados após cerca de sete meses de operar o joelho.
‘Contamos com o Pedro em abril. Se nada acontecer fora do previsto. Ele está na fase final da recuperação. Esperamos ter o Pedro em campo ainda em abril”, disse o treinador.
A expectativa é que o camisa 9 seja relacionado para o compromisso desta quarta-feira (9), diante do Central Córdoba-ARG, pela segunda rodada da fase de grupos da Libertadores, no Maracanã.

Apesar de todos os elogios ao Flamengo, Flávio Prado vê o Corinthians apresentando melhor futebol que o time carioca neste momento da temporada.
“O final de ano do Flamengo foi muito interessante. Eu não considero campeonato estadual. Neste começo de Campeonato Brasileiro, ele começa pior que o Corinthians. Quem tem jogado o melhor futebol, um dos melhores é o Corinthians”, disse Flavio Prado, no Canelada, da Jovem Pan.
