Investindo pesado em grandes contratações, o clube mineiro ainda não empolgou em 2025 e, segundo o comunicador, deve protagonizar o maior vexame do Brasileirão. Isso porque o elenco repleto de estrelas, como Gabigol e Dudu, sequer foi incluído na disputa pelo G-4, já que os principais reforços estão longe do auge vivido no passado.
“Eu acho que o Cruzeiro é o grande candidato ao vexame da temporada! Os mineiros acharam que eles tinham formado um super time, a torcida do Cruzeiro pelo menos. Contrataram o maior ídolo do Corinthians, o Cássio, que estava na descendente, o grande ídolo do Palmeiras, Dudu, que também estava, e o Gabriel nem se fala…”, disse RMP, no UOL News Esporte.
“Acho que o Cruzeiro não vai a lugar nenhum neste ano. Não vou dizer que vai brigar para não cair, mas vai ficar na parte de baixo da tabela. Não vejo grandes possibilidades para o Cruzeiro.”, acrescentou.
